It just seems to happen ...like water seems to find its way downhill, and this also seems to work towards a lower point.
I don't believe it is always unconscious ...though it seems it often is.
But, though it is often an emotional defense with seemingly instinctual nature ...it really is something even more, which we can't quite seem to understand.
It seems to gain speed, or confidence, or perhaps simply familiarity and comfort in the fact that it seems to work ...at least for the interim.

I am not questioning the motivation, or the reasons behind the motivation.
It just seems to me that if I don't find objection with anything you've done, or are doing ...then you will not find any objection with what I am doing.
And that comfort, or camaraderie, builds such a bond of mutual benefit, that either of us will bitterly defend each other ...concerning most anything, and at most any cost.
Why is that??
Because if we don't, then we lose not only our comfort, but ....
(Okay, our comfort is sort of symbiotic in nature, with a desperate loyalty ...that feels a threatening presence of any possible opposing ideas. The ideas held loyal are not life sustaining, nor would their absence end our fragile peaceful existence ...on the contrary, if they were abandoned, it may often enhance life. What am I speaking of is not any one thing, but a combination of things. And the sad thing is that unlike a cake, where if the ingredients are not right ---the cake doesn't taste right, with this ---the ingredients can vary, and yet the result will be virtually the same. Not our cake, but our character is often composed of ingredients we select. We may not be good at reading labels. And we shouldn't place character labels on others. Yet, what we do to ourselves is often not good either. We don't often know that our ingredients differ from what we think they are. We may have pride, or it may be a mixture of fear. It may be ---that certain things within us, when mixed with certain things within others ---well, it may be that things could explode.)

Sometimes the excitement of a scientist seems like a little kid finding exhilaration over popping a balloon ...and listening to the big bang.
Others say they are sorry (as they smile, or laugh) ...but, I cannot prove God exists. And they find gratification in presenting their wealth of knowledge ...while they think they are bursting my bubble.
Recipe for killing bacteria:
- Boil for 20 minutes
Science has seemed to evolve itself ...from attempting to put forth experiments, telling in detail of the experiments, and explaining their theories. Yet, today, we have information stated as facts ...with no need to second guess their guesses. It's like writing a fictional story which they claim is true ...making the story that much more interesting.
I read one such article. It said the most resilient forms of life are bacteria. And fairly basic, it mentions how boiling (212 degrees Fahrenheit) kills most all bacteria, except ...
- Microbe
- Clostridium
- Archea
- Strain 21
Some of you may have read an article under one of these headings. And I'm allowing you to fact-check me.
The article said that Strain 21 had to be boiled at 252 degrees Fahrenheit to kill this most resistant bacteria.
Perhaps that is easy to digest. But, how these other stats are measured ...and guesses are listed so boldly as facts, I don't know. But, I will give science their bold license.
- Surface of hottest star: 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit
- Up to 200,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit at core of star
Before the Big Bang (often termed, 'black hole'), we are told the center was over one billion degrees Fahrenheit.
Okay, that is the heat aspect of it. Now, for the density and pressure. In this earthly existence it is not difficult to be led to believe lead is rather heavy ...at approximately one half pound per cubic inch. The core of a star, we are told, is two billion tons per cubic inch.
I know they are 'pressured' to come up with something to validate the worth of their continued work ...but, at times I wonder how 'dense' they view others are?? Of course, likely at the top of their list would be Bible believers.
Okay, though they are not my facts, they may be yours, so let's just go with it.
I am told that out of the Big Bang, the first elements were helium and hydrogen. And although I do not claim to have much knowledge with the subject, I do recall that atoms can share electrons ...and however that goes, a certain amount of lithium and beryllium were created.
As things cooled, the movement of things also slowed down ...and somehow we are led to believe other elements came into being. But, how is it said that life came into being??
I depends how you define 'life'.
Some scientists extend the definition of life to include fire ...as it consumes, and grows. Yet, that would increase the degrees of Fahrenheit which destroys life by the definition mentioned earlier.
Rain on a hillside ...has droplets bumping into one another, forming bigger droplets. It can create rivers ...and you can say it is growing. And much like the droplets growing, you can somehow imagine there are amoeba in the water ...bumping into, absorbing and growing.
It makes no sense to me that something has to come from something else, which is the basis of evolution ...and to ignore that the concept just stated requires something to have not come from something else. There had to be a beginning ...or maybe the solution has to be beyond science, and is spiritual (which I contend that it is).
I could go one and on ...and many of you could probably do the same.
But, I am content that I will go on ...for eternity, with Him.
Watching Star Trek shows ...there were life forms out there, which either acted without warning, or they gave a warning. Many of them communicated warnings, but many also communicated peace. And that is what the Star Trek crew did ...they communicated peaceful intentions.
I believe God communicated His peaceful intentions to us through the Bible. That is the most probable thing that any peaceful intent would do. And I find many indications of worth in establishing my trust. I believe that beyond trust, He also established love ...in sending us Jesus.
