Recipe for killing bacteria:
- Boil for 20 minutes
Science has seemed to evolve itself ...from attempting to put forth experiments, telling in detail of the experiments, and explaining their theories. Yet, today, we have information stated as facts ...with no need to second guess their guesses. It's like writing a fictional story which they claim is true ...making the story that much more interesting.
I read one such article. It said the most resilient forms of life are bacteria. And fairly basic, it mentions how boiling (212 degrees Fahrenheit) kills most all bacteria, except ...
- Microbe
- Clostridium
- Archea
- Strain 21
Some of you may have read an article under one of these headings. And I'm allowing you to fact-check me.
The article said that Strain 21 had to be boiled at 252 degrees Fahrenheit to kill this most resistant bacteria.
Perhaps that is easy to digest. But, how these other stats are measured ...and guesses are listed so boldly as facts, I don't know. But, I will give science their bold license.
- Surface of hottest star: 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit
- Up to 200,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit at core of star
Before the Big Bang (often termed, 'black hole'), we are told the center was over one billion degrees Fahrenheit.
Okay, that is the heat aspect of it. Now, for the density and pressure. In this earthly existence it is not difficult to be led to believe lead is rather heavy ...at approximately one half pound per cubic inch. The core of a star, we are told, is two billion tons per cubic inch.
I know they are 'pressured' to come up with something to validate the worth of their continued work ...but, at times I wonder how 'dense' they view others are?? Of course, likely at the top of their list would be Bible believers.
Okay, though they are not my facts, they may be yours, so let's just go with it.
I am told that out of the Big Bang, the first elements were helium and hydrogen. And although I do not claim to have much knowledge with the subject, I do recall that atoms can share electrons ...and however that goes, a certain amount of lithium and beryllium were created.
As things cooled, the movement of things also slowed down ...and somehow we are led to believe other elements came into being. But, how is it said that life came into being??
I depends how you define 'life'.
Some scientists extend the definition of life to include fire ...as it consumes, and grows. Yet, that would increase the degrees of Fahrenheit which destroys life by the definition mentioned earlier.
Rain on a hillside ...has droplets bumping into one another, forming bigger droplets. It can create rivers ...and you can say it is growing. And much like the droplets growing, you can somehow imagine there are amoeba in the water ...bumping into, absorbing and growing.
It makes no sense to me that something has to come from something else, which is the basis of evolution ...and to ignore that the concept just stated requires something to have not come from something else. There had to be a beginning ...or maybe the solution has to be beyond science, and is spiritual (which I contend that it is).
